You can withdraw cash at contactless (NFC) ATMs using your Oobit virtual card. The withdrawal is funded by the balance in your Oobit account.
How to withdraw
Add your card to Apple Pay or Google Wallet.
Find an ATM that accepts contactless withdrawals and hold your phone to the reader.
When the ATM asks for your PIN, find it in the app on the Pay page. You'll confirm with Face ID or your fingerprint.
ATMs that only take inserted cards won't work.
Limits
Up to $250 per withdrawal, including any charge from the ATM operator. If the amount plus the operator's charge is over $250, the whole withdrawal is declined. You won't get a smaller amount instead.
Up to 3 attempts per card in any 24 hours. This isn't a daily reset: each attempt stops counting 24 hours after you made it.
Declined attempts count toward the 3, whatever the reason.
If you withdraw local currency, the amount is converted to USD to check it against the $250 limit.
Fees
Oobit charges 2.5% of the amount you withdraw, minimum $0.25 (for example, $6.25 on a $250 withdrawal). In Brazil it's 2.5% with no minimum. Some ATM operators add their own charge on top. That's set by the ATM, not Oobit, and it counts toward your $250 limit.
Before you start
You need to have completed identity verification, and your card must be active.
If a withdrawal is declined
The ATM only accepts inserted cards, not contactless.
The amount plus the ATM's charge was more than your balance or the $250 limit.
You've already made 3 attempts, successful or declined, in the past 24 hours.
ATM withdrawals show as their own entry in your activity on app version 3.3.2 or later. On older versions they show as a card payment.
