How do I send money to a bank account with Send Crypto?

Convert your crypto and send local currency to a bank account, through our partner Unblock.

Written by Bernard Fisher

Send Crypto converts your crypto and sends local currency to a bank account, yours or someone else's.

  1. Verify once with Unblock. Your Oobit verification is shared, so it's quick. Unblock runs its own check and may ask for extra documents. US residents don't need to provide proof of address.

  2. Add a bank account. It can be yours or someone else's. The details depend on the currency, for example IBAN for EUR or sort code for GBP.

  3. Get a quote. Choose the currency and amount. The rate is locked for about 30 minutes.

  4. Confirm. The crypto leaves your balance straight away, and the money usually reaches the bank in 1 to 2 business days.

If a transfer fails, your crypto is returned automatically.

Currencies

Currencies include EUR, GBP, USD, BRL, MXN, PHP, TRY, INR, IDR, ARS and NGN. USD is only available to US residents, and US residents can't send most other currencies.

Fees

Fees vary by currency. You'll see the full fee and the amount the recipient gets before you send.

Common messages

"An identical transfer was just submitted": to prevent sending twice, the same amount to the same recipient is blocked for 60 seconds while the first transfer is open. Check your activity: the first one has probably gone through.

"Another bank transfer is already being processed": wait a few seconds and try again.
