Looking to exchange one cryptocurrency for another but not quite sure how to go about it? We’ve got you covered with our integrated Swap service that allows you to exchange one cryptocurrency for another. All you’ll need is an Oobit account and the cryptocurrency you’re looking to swap in your Oobit wallet. Let’s dive into how to swap cryptocurrencies on Oobit.
Step 1:
From your dashboard select Swap from the left hand menu. From here select a wallet under the Swap From option and the Receive To option (see images below). The Swap from is the currency you want to exchange and the Receive option is the currency you are looking to acquire.
Step 2:
Enter the amount of BTC you would like to swap, or select the Swap Min or Swap Max options. On the right you can toggle the currency by clicking on the arrows. Note the balance of your selected wallet underneath the blue “Continue” button.
Step 3:
After clicking Continue you will be taken to a screen confirming the exchange. Check the amounts and chosen cryptocurrencies, then click the blue Continue button to initiate the trade. Note that the fees incurred are network fees and go straight to the respective networks’ miners. These are not paid to Oobit. Once you initiate the trade you cannot reverse the transaction.
Step 4:
You will then receive confirmation and your chosen cryptocurrency will be deposited into your Oobit wallet. And that concludes our guide on how to swap cryptocurrencies on Oobit.
