We take the privacy of your personal information very seriously. Not only are we fully compliant with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) legislation, but we also have an assigned Data Protection Officer. Here is a brief breakdown of our security efforts across several boards.
Document Security
In an unlikely breach of security we have incorporated a watermark feature on all our documents to ensure that should anyone gain access to them, they cannot be used elsewhere.
Account Security
The chances of accounts being accessed without authorization are extremely unlikely, however, if this were to happen it would be client specific as opposed to a number of accounts. This is why we encourage our Oobit clientele to take every precaution when securing their accounts (activating 2FA, using strong passwords, etc).
Database Security
The Oobit database is secured by heavy encryption and layers of multiple security systems. Oobit employees do not even have access, only a very few authorized members. Should someone get access to the database, they would still need to decrypt this information and pass several highly secure protocol layers.
As we take the utmost effort to ensure that your personal data is secure, we encourage you to make the same efforts. Here are a number of options to explore when looking at how to better manage the security of your account.
