Once you are logged in and have verified your phone number and email address, head to the Settings page and click on Password and Security. Select the edit (pencil) icon next to Two-Step Verification (as below).
Next, you’ll be greeted with a Secret Key which you should copy and store in a secure location (Oobit will never ask you for this code), as well as a QR code.
You will need to download an authenticator app. Go to the App Store on your device and search for authenticator apps. Find an app that you trust, through ratings and reviews and download the one best suited to you. We can recommend 2FA Authenticator, Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator as options, there are obviously many more.
Once you’ve downloaded the app, scan the QR code given to you (as per the picture above). This will automatically generate a 6 digit code, which you will need to enter in the box provided. Once you have entered the code, click Enable. Note that these codes expire quickly, and new codes will be generated until you activate one.
Once you have set up your 2FA you will see a list of Device History, indicating your most recent logins. You’re all set to go!
