Dispute a transaction

Did you notice a transaction you are not familiar with or you believe it wasn’t you? At Oobit we take disputes involving unrecognized transactions seriously, and we strive to resolve them as quickly and fairly as possible.

The quickest way to resolve most issues is by contacting the merchant directly. Have you contacted the merchant first?

It's often much quicker and easier to get your money back by reaching out directly to the merchant and asking for a refund. If you've reached out to the merchant and they haven't replied, don’t worry we are here to help.

If you believe there is an error with an Oobit contactless transaction, please follow the steps below:

Step one - Contact us:
The first step is to contact our customer service team as soon as possible. 

Providing details: Be prepared to provide specific details about the transaction in question, including the date, amount, and merchant name. We may also ask for documentation, such as receipts or other supporting materials.

Step two - Investigation:
Once we receive your dispute, we will investigate the transaction and determine whether an error occurred. This process may take several business days, but we will keep you informed of our progress.

Step Three - Resolution: If we find that an error did occur, we will work to resolve the issue and, if necessary, provide a refund or credit to your account. If we determine that no error occurred, we will explain our reasoning and provide you with any additional information.
