What was the $OBT to $OOB token migration?

How the $OBT to $OOB migration on Solana worked, and what to do if you still hold $OBT.

Written by Bernard Fisher

In November 2025, Oobit migrated its token from $OBT to $OOB on the Solana network. The migration has now closed.

Key dates

  • Nov 9: the migration portal opened at migration.oobit.com.

  • Nov 12: the Token Generation Event (TGE) took place and the eligibility snapshot was taken.

  • Nov 19: the migration portal closed and $OOB was distributed to eligible wallets.

How it worked

  • Holders connected the wallet holding their $OBT to the migration portal and burned their $OBT there.

  • Only tokens held or migrated before the snapshot on Nov 12 were eligible. $OBT bought or moved after the snapshot didn't count.

  • After the portal closed on Nov 19, eligible wallets received $OOB at a 1:1 ratio.

  • This was a one-time distribution. There was no second snapshot and there are no ongoing swaps from $OBT to $OOB.

What happened to $OBT?

$OBT has been deprecated, and exchange support for it has ended.

I still hold $OBT. What can I do?

The migration window has closed, so $OBT can no longer be migrated through the portal. If you have questions about your tokens, contact support through the Oobit app.
