How does the Oobit Business treasury work?

How your company balance is funded, held and protected.

How does the treasury work?

Your company has one central balance that funds every card and payout. To add funds, the Owner or an Admin goes to Deposit in the dashboard and sends USDT to the company deposit address.

  • Deposits are accepted in USDT on the Ethereum network only. Other assets or networks aren't supported, so check before you send.

  • Once the deposit is confirmed on-chain, it's added to your balance in US dollars and is ready to use.

  • Card payments and payouts are taken from this balance. Pending card payments count straight away.

Who can see the balance?

The Owner, Admins and the Accounting role can see the company balance. Members only see their own cards.

Can I get alerts when the balance is low?

Yes. Admins can set low-balance alerts with their own threshold and choose which roles receive them. If the balance runs low, your team's card payments may be declined, so it's worth setting one up.

How is my treasury secured?

Funds are held with institutional custody providers. Access to the dashboard requires two-factor authentication (2FA), each person only sees what their role allows, and payouts must be confirmed with 2FA.
