Yes. You need to complete identity verification before you can get an Oobit card, make payments or send money. It's a legal requirement for payment services, and it helps protect your account.
Until you're verified, your account shows Verification required. Finish verification in the app to unlock all features.
You only verify once
Your verification applies everywhere you use Oobit, including if you use Oobit inside a partner wallet app. It's also shared with our partners for buying crypto, bank transfers and PIX, so their checks are quicker.
What if my verification isn't approved?
If something needs fixing, such as a blurry photo or a detail that doesn't match, the app asks you to resubmit. Follow the prompt to try again.
If your verification is rejected, your account shows Verification not approved. You can still log in, view your balance and withdraw your funds, but you can't make new transactions.
