How do I use WalletConnect to fund card payments from my own wallet?

Fund card purchases from a self-custody wallet like MetaMask or Trust Wallet, without moving your crypto into Oobit.

With WalletConnect, your card purchases are funded from your own self-custody wallet instead of your Oobit balance. You don't need to move your crypto into Oobit first.

  1. Connect your wallet in the Oobit app.

  2. Approve a spending limit. You sign this once in your wallet. No money moves at this step.

  3. Use your card as normal. For each purchase, the exact amount is taken from your wallet. You don't need to sign each one.

Supported networks

Tron, Arbitrum and other EVM networks, and Solana, for supported stablecoins such as USDT and USDC. The current list of assets is shown in the app.

Fees

A 1% payment fee, minimum $0.25 (Brazil: 1%, no minimum).

WalletConnect payments earn cashback and 5x Rewards points like any card purchase.

Payment failed?

  • Not enough of the token in your wallet: top up your wallet.

  • Spending limit used up or expired: approve a new limit.

  • Approval pending for more than about 20 minutes: it's marked as failed. Try again.
