Is there a 3% fee?
Only on one type of swap: when the asset you receive is OOB. All other swaps are 0.95%, and card purchases are 1%.
Why was I charged $0.25 on a small purchase?
That's the minimum card fee. It doesn't apply in Brazil.
Why did the ATM cost more than a purchase?
ATM withdrawals are 2.5% rather than 1%, and the ATM operator may add its own charge.
