How do 5x Rewards levels and cashback work?

Your card spending sets your level, and your level sets your rewards.

Written by Bernard Fisher

In 5x Rewards you have a level from 1 to 5, based on how much you spend with your card in a 90-day cycle. Your cycle starts on the date of your first qualifying payment. Spend more and your level goes up. If your spending drops, your level can go down in the next cycle.

Cashback rates (level 2 and up)

  • Card purchases funded with USDT: 5% back, paid in Tether Gold (XAUT). US residents receive it in USDT.

  • Card purchases funded with OOB: 10% back, paid in OOB.

  • Limited-time promotions sometimes add cashback on other assets.

Monthly limits

  • USDT: cashback applies to up to $200 of card spending each month, so you can earn up to $10 a month.

  • OOB: up to $1,000 in cashback each month.

Cashback is added when you make the purchase, confirmed once the payment completes, and canceled if the payment fails. It goes into your rewards balance, which you can use on card purchases but can't withdraw.

Not getting cashback?

  • You're on level 1. Cashback starts at level 2.

  • You've reached this month's limit.

  • Cashback is temporarily paused in your country. Points still work, and cashback resumes automatically.

  • You use Oobit inside a partner app, where rewards aren't available.

  • Neither USDT nor USDC is available where you live. Rewards are paid in these assets, so they aren't available to you.
